I am interested in applying my expertise in geography and epidemiology to investigate the spatiotemporal dynamics of infectious diseases and understand the social, economic, and environmental drivers of population health.
My primary duties involve assisting in the execution of research projects, which include developing and applying mathematical models and deep learning models, preparing manuscripts, and publishing peer-reviewed articles. I also collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in designing transmission models, such as SEIR models for COVID-19, and linking spatially referenced and socio-economic data with health data. Additionally, I support postgraduate students in learning R and Python programming languages as well as statistical methods, such as time series models.
